I agree. I'm not even sure why we're contemplating some kind of sweep
for this. The typical daemon doesn't have any support files in
${LOCALBASE}, and responds nicely to "kill", in any case. Consider
ntpd, wwwoffled, sshd, named: the configurations go under /etc or
/var, and the rc.d script is copied to /etc/rc.d. What's the big deal?
