If that's the case, then it proves that the perl-mk package was a
mistake. The whole point of installing a make fragment in the first
place, was that the locations were set at build time, and so should
never need to be re-computed. The idea would be foolproof, if the
fragment were simply installed with perl-base as originally proposed.
