I ran cyrus imapd 1.5.19 in the days before libsasl. I recently installed
the 20001015-1.5_ALPHA2 snapshot, and built cyrus-imapd from pkgsrc. I'm
having a difficult time (that is, no success) getting clients to
authenticate with plaintext, and even less success with SSL.

If anyone has gotten Outlook Express or Netscape clients to talk to this
server over SSL (preferably without a wrapper like stunnel), I'd greatly
appreciate some tips.
