I would really like to see a couple of _fast_ bulk machines.  One i386 and
at least one non-i386.   Perhaps macppc would be a good choice.  I've
noted a number of places where pkgs are not quite ready for non-i386.
I've also had to fix a few where 'uname -m' != 'uname -p'
