Time use by make is starting to look a weeeeee bit excessive on this
here IPC.  Especially the last `make readme` in "/usr/pkgsrc"...  :-)

Carefully (artistically?) placed comments can go a long way towards
preventing that.  Any artists want to tackle some of this?
