Hi,

After David Brownlee asked me about this, I just tried installing suse6.3
libs (from pkgsrc) and ran FrameMaker. Result: a core and this from
ktrace:

  ...
  3267 maker5X.exe CALL pipe(0xefbfcfac)
  3267 maker5X.exe RET pipe 0
  3267 maker5X.exe CALL sigprocmask(0,0xefbfcef4,0xefbfce74)
  3267 maker5X.exe RET sigprocmask 0
  3267 maker5X.exe CALL [190]
  3267 maker5X.exe PSIG SIGSYS SIG_DFL
  3267 maker5X.exe NAMI "maker5X.exe.core"

Whatever call 190 is, it seems that SuSE really plays some bad dirty
tricks here with changed kernel calls.
