I may not fully understand your patch here (who said that perl is a write
only language, and reading diffs of it doesn't make things worse? :-), but
as far as I understand, you only look for "pkg-ver*" as a wildcard string.
Please see the description of the -e switch in pkg_info(1) for a full list
of all wildcards supported. Hint: it's nasty!
