Subject: Coming Soon from New Breed Software - BoboBot!

Press Release from New Breed Software, Davis, CA July 22, 1998
========================================================================

Note: This message is going out to everyone on the New Breed Software
mailing list, and every mailing list for New Breed Software's different
X-Window-based games.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coming Soon!

Coming soon for X-Window! He's cute. He's fuzzy. He's robotic.
It's BoboBot, the robo-monkey! And he's out to do bad-guys trouble.

What Is It!?

Jump, run and shoot your way through eight levels (including Egypt,
the Grand Canyon and a secret Antarctic fortress) and eight bosses,
gaining special weapons along the way. All the while, honing your
game-playing skills for the big bad boss waiting at the end of his
  own huge level.

You'll deal with flying platforms, rolling conveyor-belts, runaway
mine carts, wind-up penguins, walking bombs, and many other hazards
in your quest for world peace (or something like that).

BoboBot is under development on a 133 MHz Pentium with a measily
16 MB of RAM and running Red Had Linux 4.1. Somehow, though, it
runs really fast, so you should have no problem, either.

How Much Does It Cost?

BoboBot will either be entirely free, or shareware (you'll get most
of the game, and pay a small registration fee to get the complete
game). I'll have to see what people's reactions are, so please tell
  me what you think!

Where Is It?

BoboBot is still under development, but you can see some Really Cool
Screenshots (TM) of the game in action at:

Please let me know what you think!
