        Hi,

i think this was discussed some time before, but i can't find it
anymore. I bought a new disk (40GB) and thought about the free_space
value in newfs. According to the manpage 5% is the default which is
1GB of my 20GB /usr. That sounds a bit high (tunefs even mentions 10%
as default value). The tunefs manpage also mentions a speed penalty
when min_free is to small. So what are sane value for free_space (or
minfree in tunefs) nowadays?
