Subject: Mobile IPv6 on MacOS X patches available

Hello,

Let me announce Mobile IPv6 on MacOS X.
I have ported our Mobile IPv6 implementation called SHISA onto MacOS X.
As some of you know, SHISA is the new KAME Mobile IPv6 implementation, and =
it=20
works on FreeBSD and NetBSD. Please refer http://www.mobileip.jp/ for the=
=20
detail of SHISA.

Now, I made SHISA work on MacOS X, though, it requires changing kernel and=
=20
works only on PPC Mac.
If you are interested in the work, visit the following URL:
 =09http://www.momose.org/macintosh/macosx/mip6.html
It works as a MN and CN (they are confirmed), HA should work(not confirmed)=
,=20
without IPsec protection.

however, There are a lot of restrictions remain yet.
- works on only PPC mac (not Intel)
- only for 10.4.7
- Not work with IPsec

I'll fix these restrictions in near days.

In the process described above URL, it requires compiling kernel and changi=
ng=20
the boot kernel. I don't recommend to use it on your daily use Mac. But it=
=20
might be useful for those who have interests IPv6 mobility stuff.

Regards,

P.S.: Of course, I assume no responsibility whatsoever for any damages=20
resulting from the use of this work.
