There are several pkgs that use/have a BSD Makefile infrastructure.
pkgsrc/net/netbsd-tap comes to mind, I'm sure there are others.

Then again, why bother - systems that use pkgsrc DO have a BSD Makefile 
infrastructure with all the *.mk files in place via pkgsrc-bootstrap. :)
