Hi there, I got a BUFFALO WLI-U2-KG54-AI, "succesfully" attached but
when I try to assign an address, either manually or via dhclient it goes
on timeout, as shown below.
It's an USB adapter even if it's called ral*.
Here's the full dmesg output:
uhidev1 at uhub1 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0
uhidev1: BUFFALO WLI-U2-KG54-AI, rev 2.00/1.15, addr 2, iclass 3/1

ral0: MAC/BBP RT2570 (rev 0x03), RF RT2526, address 00:0d:0b:62:a5:f0

ral0: 11g rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps 6Mbps 9Mbps 12Mbps 18Mbps

ral0: timeout waiting for BBP/RF to wakeup
ral0: timeout waiting for BBP/RF to wakeup
# ifconfig ral0 inet 192.168.1.15
ifconfig: SIOCAIFADDR: Input/output error
I'm on a 3.99.8 macppc machine, I've tried also on a 3.99.8 GENERIC i386
kernel and the results are the same.
The only thing I've done was adding the ral(4) driver line to the config
files.
Am I missing something?
I did not found anything related to my problem via google.
The other parameters are fully configurable with ifconfig(8).
Please to/cc me because I'm not subscribed to this list.
Thank you.
My best regards
