On a Power Macintosh 5500/225 I had

NetBSD 1.5.1_BETA2 (INSTALL) #5: Sat May 12 12:56:49 PDT 2001
    matt@duel.local:/u1/kobj/INSTALL
CPU: 603ev (Revision 1201)
...
tlp0 at pci0 dev 13 function 0: DECchip 21041 Ethernet, pass 2.1
tlp0: interrupting at irq 23
tlp0: Ethernet address 00:c0:f0:37:01:58
tlp0: 10baseT, 10base2, 10baseT-FDX
...
tlp0: receive ring overrun
tlp0: receive ring overrun
.. ad infinitum

From memory life wasn't any better with the de(4) driver - I'll try to get
that box back and see if it's still true with NetBSD 1.6..

Cheers,

Patrick
