That's probably what happened - and you should also read my "2821 deciding"
as "the IETF drums working group that produced 2821" - I read the drafts
so frequently that I have never bothered to read the final RFC...

But it is very likely that I just forgot the final outcome (changes like
that aren't made lightly).
