Subject: Does NetBSD's vlan support work with 3Com Superstack II 1000?

I've got an IBM 8271-612 NWays Ethernet switch, which is a relabeled
3Com SuperStack II 1000 switch. It has VLAN support built-in, and
claims VLT (Virtual Lan Trunking) support, but I see no way to configure
802.1q VLAN support into the switch. I've done several things to try to
make the machines (both an i386 with a tlp card and my SparcClassic with
the built-in le0) talk on all VLANs, but nothing I seem to do helps.

Does NetBSD's VLAN support work with VLT? If not, would it be possible
to make it work, or is VLT support not possible without hardware
support?

Also, if anyone can suggest how to make the SuperStack II 1000 pass
802.1q packets for VLAN encapsulation, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
David
