Hi,

I tried to connect with PPPOE following the instructions at this URL:

The manual connection attempt let me connect to a PPPOE server (i
was given a dynamic IP). The problem was, i could not ping any internet
host! Setting my internet gateway as my default route did not solve the
problem. 

Interestingly, the "permanent" connection (at boot, with ifwatchd) worked
fine.

But can anyone explain me why i could not access to the internet with
manual connection?

PS: my configuration is NetBSD 1.6RC1/i386.
