1.6 is now RC, which mean "release candidate". It's the final round of testing,
and if all goes well this is what will be released as 1.6.
I already have a few servers running 1.6_RC1.

Can you post the outputs of 'ifconfig -a' and 'netstat -rn', as well as dmesg ?
