Anyone find this output strange?

pppoe0: flags=a851<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,LINK1,MULTICAST> mtu 1492
        inet XXX.X.XXX.XX -> XXX.X.XXX.XXX netmask 0xff000000
gre0: flags=8011<UP,POINTOPOINT,MULTICAST> mtu 1450
        address: 00:00:00:00
        inet 192.168.XXX.XX -> 192.168.XXX.XX netmask 0xffffff00

Note the "address: 00:00:00:00" line for gre0, but not for pppoe0.
I don't see why gre0 should have a link level address, shouldn't it
look more like the pppoe0 output?
