I'd say: yes, let's rename it to something sane.

Please also note it's upcoming use as "pppoectl" (see patches and description
I send to tech-kern). That actually has some parts only used for PPPoE
configuration, but not worth creating yet another utility. Bloating ifconfig
with everything is useful for simple /etc/rc.conf files, but I'm not sure
it is the right thing to do here. Maybe add a generic ifconfig interface
allowing to set key/value pairs?
