	Hello,

[This question is not really NetBSD related but because this is a good place
to find people with knowledge I'll post it anway.]

The primary name server of my domain "zhadum.de" got a new IP address
recently at they ISP was asked to modify the secondary's configuration
accordingly. Today I tried to verify it this done by increasing the
serial number and reloading the zone on the primary. Here ist the
result:

Mar 30 12:56:44 beaver named[102]: master zone "zhadum.de" (IN) loaded (serial 2001033000)
Mar 30 12:56:44 beaver named[102]: Forwarding source address is [0.0.0.0].65237
Mar 30 12:56:44 beaver named[102]: Ready to answer queries.
Mar 30 12:57:00 beaver named[102]: Sent NOTIFY for "zhadum.de IN SOA 2001033000" (zhadum.de); 1 NS, 1 A
Mar 30 12:57:00 beaver named[102]: Received NOTIFY answer (!AA) from 194.231.40.24 for "zhadum.de IN SOA"
Mar 30 12:57:00 beaver named[102]: approved AXFR from [194.231.40.24].61443 for "zhadum.de"
Mar 30 12:57:00 beaver named[102]: zone transfer (AXFR) of "zhadum.de" (IN) to [194.231.40.24].61443

So basically it looks good - 194.231.40.24 is the secondary - but I wonder
what the "Received NOTIFY answer (!AA)" line means.

	Kind regards
