You probably can't compare "system load" between different OS.
They all have diverging ideas how to calculate this single value. Just because
Linux and FreeBSD calculate it overoptimistic, does not mean we need more
CPU :-)

There are a lot more subtle factors for real world or benchmark performance
comparisions.
