Subject: tcp/udp6 port 601 oddity

run "netstat -af inet6", and see there's something listening on ports
601-603. I found out that rpc.lockd and rpc.statd are two of the processes
listening there, and I wonder

 * what the third process is
 * why they are only listening on udp6 and tcp6, but not udp and tcp
 * if this is intended
 * if there are are evil things lurking on these open tcp ports (telnet
   ::1 601 && start flooding...)
