Hi,

the latest ORiNOCO (Lucent wavelan) driver no longer supports setting
the ad-hoc in the gui client.

From the v6.01 release notes:
* The client stations can be configured for Peer-to -Peer Group
communication. This mode is compliant with the IEEE 802.11
IBSS (Independent Basic Service Set) operation.
The previous non-IEEE-compliant "Ad-Hoc Demo Mode " can no
longer be selected through the user interface.

There is a way to enable the ad-hoc mode by changing the registry,
but I don't know what I need to change.

Overall it would be better if we also support the IBBS mode.
