I wouldn't, and I have, and indeed I relied on it for many months; if my
only connection to the 'net were via a 1MB Atari ST then I would do it 
again.  But with 4MB it made more sense to use MiNT (which I guess counts
as yet another un*x variant).

No prize for guessing what I use on this TT. :>
