OIC.  No, it doesn't even try to.  Should be easy enough to fix.

I think we *are* supposed to accept broadcast or multicast packets
sent to a link-level unicast address, though.

BTW, it's not actually possible using this hack to remotely
distinguish between promiscuous mode and listening to at least 64
multicast addresses (with ~all commonly available hardware).
