Given their track record with standard protocols, I assume this means 
M$ is going to support M$'s version of ipsec and M$'s version of 
ethernet packets?

Take a standard, throw in some barely functional proprietary changes, 
then claim you're actually making it better for your customers by 
locking them into your implementation.  "Embrace and Extend."

I'll wait and see.
