Sorry, typo. That should be 35 Kbytes: 70 packets with 500 bytes of
user TCP payload each (since the machines are on different subnets).

Tcpdump shows the receiver swallows the entire in-bound window of
70-odd packets, over a period of some 40 milliseconds, before it sent
back any acks for those 70 packets.  (the options bytes push that up
to a real 35k.)
