I completely agree with Jared!
Now the webcam completely works.

For curious I just added in ~/.mplayer/config:

 tv=driver=v4l2:fps=25:width=480:height:360:device=/dev/video0

In this way to use the webcam I simply type:

 $ mplayer tv://

That's all!
