Perhaps a link to where this project is described, so we can be sure 
we're talking about the same one?  In general, as well, except for 
certain programs such as Google's Summer of Code (which is not currently 
running), if you don't see mailing list traffic about it, feel free to 
hop in and start contributing design ideas!
