Nvidia Optimus on laptops

Are there any plans on supporting Nvidia Optimus technology which is
getting more and more attention on laptops? Or maybe at least a
possibility to disable the Nvidia card through ACPI calls (which is
possible on linux, so there is some code to look at)? Without it, such
laptops are useless because of the heat (2 graphic cards running at
once).
