Question regarding sysmon_envsys(9)

If a sensor has its own built-in lower, upper, and critical limits which 
are user settable, what would be the appropriate mechanism for setting 
them?  Would a sysctl variable be appropriate?  Or is there a better 
mechanism within sysmon_envsys itself?
