NetBSD resize_ffs SoC project

Hi, folks

My second project proposal is for Improve/Extend file system resizer project. With functional LVM (it should not depend on my LVM SoC) NetBSD need better file-system
resizer. Task for this project are:

1) write regression tests and find all possible hidden bugs in FFSv1 code.

2) write FFSv2 code

3) Document my work and submit it into NetBSD guide.

Tasks out of scope SoC timeframe

1) integrate resize_ffs with our LVM (mostly libdevmapper/lvm2tools library).

2) online filesystem shrinking and growing. This needs major rewrite of resize_ffs
and add support to FFS driver in kernel.

Tasks Timeframe:

Before Midterm-evaulation I want to read resize_ffs code and write tests to find most if not all FFSv1 bugs. After Midterm-evaulation I want to work on FFSv2 support and get it to working state.
In Pencils down week I want to write documentation and test/fix my code.

Regards

Adam.
