System hangs on gmake -j2 for qt

I ran into what I thought were complete system hangs when compiling qt 
with the latest HEAD.

kgmon was enabled in the kernel so I was able to get a trace around part 
of the compile that almost hangs the system. Both cores show up as 100% 
system time in top.

http://www.linbsd.org/hang is the gprof output for a portion of the hang 
time.

Kernel GENERIC - (pcic/cardbus/cbb) + gprof 
Current as of the snapshot form Feb 3rd.
