Subject: auixp driver problem on Asus P4R800-V m/b

    Hi

    If possible I'd like to get both hardware monitor and audio working 
    on an Asus P4R800-V motherboard. When auixp driver is loaded there is 
    a continuous stream of errors:

    auixp0: codec read timeout! (reg 26)
    auixp0: codec read timeout! (reg 26)
    .....


    From manual the codec is given as: ADI AD1888 SoundMAX 6-channel 
    audio CODEC.

    NetBSD 3.1_STABLE but willing to try 4.0 if needed.

    I don't see anything useful from lspci or in available kernel
    config options. Any help appreciated.
