I don't think anyone thinks you don't mean well.  The disagreement I've
seen has been over whether some ill-defined thing hovering near
"proplib" *is* in NetBSD's best interests.  You obviously think it is;
a number of other people aren't so sure (there are probably a few who
actively and definitely disagree, but I don't recall seeing anything
from any of them).  This is a very different thing from thinking you're
acting in bad faith.
