I don't like having to configure something based on the device driver  
name.  We should be able to ship generic scripts that work with  
~everything on a generic x86-based platform, at least.

All of these device / sensors have a common theme, right?  "CPU fan",  
"CPU temperature", etc.  So, the scripts should be named like that,  
somehow.
