Yes, please compile a kernel defined with AZALIA_DEBUG and file a PR,
including the mixerctl/audioctl output, dmesg, and what you'd like to
see fixed. I wish I could help you myself, but it's beyond me. :(
From what I see here, though, the driver is telling you that it
doesn't know what to do with ONE of your codecs (codec 1); codec 0 is
fine.
Have you tried playing around with all of the mixer settings?
Sometimes their names can be misleading. On my STAC9221, the DAC
output volume is technically an "input", so I have to raise the volume
for inputs.dac02 to hear anything.
