So...

I've been lurking a bit and reading, and I was wondering if there
were any good references on deep kernel-level stuff; particularly
device drivers, interrupt handling, locking and synchronization, etc.

I believe someone with the last name Miller from the Linux world
suggested "Unix for Modern Architectures"... any opinions?
