Does this better go to tech-net?

On a remote server, we today experienced a lockup of squid in mclpl state.
I gathered various netstat/vmstats outputs, but I couldn't leave the machine
in that non-functioning state for too long as to allow further investigation.

Of course, after re-booting, everything was fine.

I can post as much of these outputs as needed, but I first wanted to make sure
this is not a known issue with 3.0/i386.
