Hello Allen,
yes, i know, but in the doc for the driver icp(4)  the GDT Series of the Contoller is listed. On 
the ICP Vortex homepage the ICP9014RO Raidcontroller is not listed under the GDT 
Contollers Series
So it could be that the ICP9014 is not supported by this driver.
