Could you send me the full dmesg output (/var/run/dmesg.boot).
Possibly we need to insure that a valid (and better as dummy)
timecounter is already selected during the (interrupt blocked)
configuration phase.

BTW: the 1 second rollover exit path in auich.c seems bogus.
