The branch simonb-timecounters tracks the integration of
FreeBSD's timecounter implementation (see http://www.kardel.name
for more background information).

I built a i386-release from the current simonb-timecounters branch so
that interested folks can get a quick preview on timecounters in NetBSD.
The (GENERIC) kernels and some selected binaries can be found in

ftp://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/kardel/

Additionally a compiled version of the current NTP project release
candidate is available there too.

We (simonb@, kardel@) would appreciate feedback on how good
or bad this works on different systems.
