... I don't have such thing in my NetBSD. Despite this fact, I have no
problem with loading the firmware image, I know correct procedure. The
problem I have is that I don't know if (and how) I can open file from
driver directly or not. I know that e.g. MS Windows forbids direct
access to files from driver, but I don't know if NetBSD forbids it too
or not.
