That sounds like the same laptop as I have (Targa Visionary). Our .aml
files are identical (I just checked).

I haven't tried the patch, but I can tell you that when using APM,
suspend (that's S3, right) works fine via Fn-F1 or the zzz command, and
it wakes up on any keypress. I use it a lot (although recently I got
some file cache corruption and I suspected that it happened during
suspend).
