Subject: kernel option for "socket: Protocol not supported"

I'm pretty sure one of these disabled kernel options below is
causing the warning:

# ssh root@localhost
socket: Protocol not supported

given this is a very slow host at a remote location, I was
hoping someone could clue me in on which option will enable "ssh
sockets". (I'm not using GENERIC because this host is vary low on
RAM as well.)
