Is there an ongoing effort to support the Compaq Smart
Array 5/6 Controllers?  (OpenBSD and FreeBSD do)

Or the IBM ServeRAID Controllers?  (FreeBSD does)

There are many new machines out there which I'd like
to use with NetBSD...
