I'd like to report another kernel crash on NetBSD 2.0.2: I've again used
the p7zip archiver on FAT32 partition. When it tried to create a large
file (I guess > 4GB) the kernel panickeg with the follwoing message on
the console:
panic: deextend: file too large
and dropped into DDB. I tried to kill the offending process, with no
success (DDB just said "no such process", while it was clearly visible
in the ps listing. maybe it's impossible to kill the current process?)
Sorry for not pr-sending this, but my machine is not on public network..
Configuration details:
- - NetBSD 2.0.2
- - i386 arch
- - MP kernel
I can provide some more info if needed.
