Salut,
I have just updated a laptop which uses the xi NIC to NetBSD 3.0_BETA
and it seems that I can't set the media type anymore. This is however
crucial, since the driver chooses 100baseTX per default, which doesn't
work (the card reports a timeout). When I set xi0 to 10baseT manually
it works well - however, this only worked in 2.0:
# ifconfig xi0 media 10baseT
ifconfig: SIOCSIFMEDIA: Invalid argument
#=20
Userland and kernel are both 3.0_BETA from today.
Any ideas?
Tonnerre
