Greetings,

Would it be possible to have different partition maps handled in one
kernel configuration?  I have noticed that at the moment partition maps
and disk labels are machine-dependent.  I would very much like to see a
kernel option which enables certain partition map handling (like MBR,
Apple Partition Map, Rigit Disk Block, etc.).

Is it possible?  If so, can someone guide me how to do that?  And,
possibly, bless me to comit any changes to the repository?. :)
