Hi, all!

I'm tried to install a WLAN adapter into a friend's pc some days ago,
but it does not seem to be supported by the kernel, it's an Gigabyte
GN-WPKG PCI card. The system installed is NetBSD 2.0, platform is i386.
What I'd have found to this time being, is that the WLAN cards supported
is not sold in Norway, and the WLAN cards sold in Norway is not
supported by the kernel. The GN-WPKG card might be the nearest to be
supported, I'd found something about a port from OpenBSD where this
adapter is suppported. This port did have some problem, I'd have tried
to ask the author wether or not the problems could be overcome, but I
don't have got an answer yet, though this is a week ago. It were a
message on this list, but I'm not able to find it.

Is it possible that this adapter card is going to be supported by NetBSD
in the near future?

It's not an disaster if it's remaining unsupported, I'd have an Ethernet
adapter as well, and it's possible to install a cable, but it will cost
some work. Desicion wether to use WLAN or cable will be done the
forthcoming weekend.

Cincerely,
Sigmund
